I didn't like it. Boring actually. But very well maintained. I'll have to save my dollars. I've been missing golfing with nut. We used to play a lot together. I made him hit from the blues and I hit from the whites and he still smoked me. When we first started playing together he was just starting out and I had a chance but that's over with now for a long time. Now I just play with him for the fun. Kind of like playing with you jhmeg2. I need a smmmokin in the group to have a chance at beating someone LOL.

I always pack a few extra balls when playing a new course for the first time. Its just a habit really, I hope to not need them, but they are there in case. Having said that, I think the most balls I've lost in a single round is a smooth half dozen. I'm sure that number was higher when I first started playing, but six is the highest of recent memory.

One of the last rounds I played last year was on a course that I hadn't played for years. With leaves on the course and the low sun angle it was impossible to follow the flight of the ball. I'd hit off the tee and lose it in the sun. I searched for every tee shot and found few. I dropped a second ball where I thought the ball must have gone and went on from there. I hated to play that way and lost a lot of balls that day.

Summers during and after high school a couple buddies of mine and I would play this goat track called Sugar Bay, somewhere between Cincinnati and Louisville. Real easy to lose a ball in the rough/cabbage patch/farmer's fields there. Combine the fact that none of us could break 120 plus more than a little alcohol in our 16 year old selves... we actually would pilfer range balls from places and use them on the golf course because we lost them so quickly.

I think we would lose like 20 or so... each... per day.

Awesome! That's how we attract the youth of golf right there. Goat track fun, baby!

A buddy of mine and I went out and played a few years ago. He's, not a golfer. We stopped at Walmart, he purchased 36 golf balls, he lost them all and borrowed a few of mine. We went back to Walmart at the turn, he purchased 36 more golf balls. Went back to the course for the back 9, where he proceeded to lose 35 of his balls. We finished the last hole with a pitching wedge in the dark with one golf ball left.

Jeebus. I'm guessing he never played again.
