Technically I'm a Millennial(by age). I'm very embarrassed to be associated with that term.

Nothing about what 'Millennial' stands for I agree with...for the most part.
Same on my side, but as a very immersed member on my own generation, I do feel that many of us aren't stereotypical "millennial" it's just the ones who you notice, and associate with these typical traits. Like sub said, he knows one or two, and gives an in-depth example, but does that model reflect on the majority of 18-34 year-olds that he knows? I doubt it. Every generation will have its unmotivated, or wrongfully outspoken groups, but hard work builds civilization, and if civilization still exists, than so must hard work.

2 of our 4 children are Millenials, the other 2 are older than 34 (Gen X?). All 4 of them are hard working, accountable, responsible adults. There's an example. ;)

Golf is semi-frozen here in our FLA community. There are 4 courses here and the entire population is 55+ so they are not trying to attract Millenial revenue. That generation will get here in 20 years........we'll see what brand of golf they like or bring with them, or how the game evolves as they age.

You're biased. :D

I always thought I was Generation X...now for some reason I'm smack dab in the upper middle Millennial Generation...whatevs.

I had no idea I wasn't generation x (34 soon to be 35). That was the term thrown around when I was growing up. I can't relate to the handout, participation award, entitled, nanby pamby sissified crap I see from most of the millennial crowd.

Work hard and you get to play hard. You just don't get to play hard because you think you deserve it. SMFH!!!

'Generations' are way too big...I don't think anyone at 36 has squat in common with an 18 year old...and they're in the same 'generation'

10, or even maybe 5 years is a better 'generation' gap IMO.

<- 1975. Still an X I guess.

What does that mean? How am I supposed to act and what should my beliefs be? Label me, please.
