Internet golfer Rick Shiels is releasing a test video on youtube in the next 24 hours.

The Cobra F8 driver has a new face design. Is it marketing koolaid or an advancement in driver design?

But who could forget the vertical groove driver from February this year.

I'm confused: vertical or circular grooves; which one's best for your game?

Over the years we've seen horizontal grooves, vertical grooves, circular grooves... and NO grooves. Each iteration suggests the mere change of how a groove design that could well have been discovered by shaking an Etch-A-Sketch will put golfers who can't break 100 on the PGA Tour. Instead, the marketing tactics entice unsuspecting players to purchase yet another of the most evil and personally aggravating pieces of machinery ever invented... the DRIVER!!!:D:D

Rick Sheils likes it. Let's see if he games it, that's the real endorsement.

    Quite.

The F8 has a draw bias which wouldn’t appeal to me because I hit with a draw anyway.

This would be be more my speed.

The masterful picture PaPaD paints for us of your artistry on the course as you bring this game to its knees would indicate a skill set such that any driver in your hands would have the impact of a sledge hammer and the finesse of a scalpel.:D:D

The reality is that most people can get around their local course fine by hitting 3 wood off the tee.

I'm betting they'll want about $600 for this amazing technology.
