Yes indeed, a local reservoir. The local fisheries agency had an Open Day at the weekend to encourage newcomers. They provided rods, spinning and fly fishing. The reservoir was stocked recently with ~1K trout. We bought my youngest a rod / reel recently for his birthday so he was keen to try it out, so a few of us went down to give it a go. It was a real hit, I loved it as well.

Best part about living on the river...toss in a line, light a fire, have a brew, and see what happens. Even if you don't catch anything, it's a great night!

Very nice IG! I emigrated to Queensland Australia 5 years ago so fishing is a big past time of mine . Absolutely love it.

Give the child a life preserver for when he's drunk and topples out of the boat!!!
