Pickpatrick? He just had a decent season but never forget he had like 8 horrendous before. There is a reason why the Jets didn't push to much on him staying

I think if they bring in Kaepernick and tell them both to compete for the starting spot, it would make them both better.

And, it's not as if Denver will have a high draft pick. The QB pickin's are slim and others will take potential talent before Denver even gets a pick. From Super Bowl to cellar dweller.... couldn't happen to a better team!!! (Incoming!!!!):p:p

He is better than any other retread on the market. Unless they can pull off a trade for a higher quality QB (doubtful), Fitzpatrick is good enough to manage games while that defense wins them. Do not forget that Trent Dilfer won a SB in Baltimore as a game manager with a great defense. I see Fitzy in the same light.

2000 was a magnificent season for the Ravens. Dilfer was comfortable in his role and did not care about stats. His job was to not make costly mistakes and get his team behind the 8 ball. I think there were 2 or 3 games went the defense scored more than the offense.

Hoping that Elway can get a deal pulled together. Uncle Rico needs to be in the NFL. All of those years practicing out of his van...

I hope he can get time off from Quickie Mart to play next season.

All joking aside, it is amazing how you can go from SB Champ to Zero Talent at the QB spot so quickly. NFL=Not For Long

They had very little talent last year though. Manning is awesome but last year was a "Mark Sanchez" type of season. If the Broncos where trailing in the SB for 7 points to begin the 4th quarter, he wouldn't have been able to make a come back.

If the Broncos would have had Geno Smith, Trent Diffler, Vince Young, Cornell Stewart or anybody else in the spot, the result would would have been the exact same thing.

So they are basically in the exact same spot but without the "Osweiller Proyect" (or however you spell that)
