OEM shaft replacement guide

Thanks Lyle, how often have you seen discrepancies between this and the golfworks OEM replacement guide? and, when this happens - I'm assuming you lean towards the golfsimth recommendation?

those flex and cpm figures are all over the place,

the Hogan s btw are FCM 4.5 at 286 cpm,softer than an R300

my current irons are 298 JZ Cushins,I should imagine I will need the Hogans reshafting

Dave, I'm not sure which Hogans you're looking at, but I looked up Apex Edge irons with "4" shafts that were purchased in Feb 2002 and see RP FCM 5.0 in the golfsmith guide and TT Dynalite Gold taper S300's in the golfworks guide http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/BenHogan.gif

was your 4.5 number from actually measuring the club or from the golfsmith guide?

Those hogans changed a few times over the years. I was going on memory but had my doubts. Hence me pulling up this chart LOL. I am getting old.

Hogan forged blades listed as Hogan 3,which is an FCM 4.5,at 285,to soft for me
