Pick 4 golfers to win the PGA. Banter is allowed in these threads now.

Scoring is as follows:

If you are the only one to correctly pick the winner, you automatically win.
If there are two or more people who picked the winner, only they will be eligible for the "playoff."
If nobody picks the winner, everyone who made picks is eligible for the "playoff."

Playoff details:
Golfers earn points equivalent to their finish. For example, if Phil finishes T24th, he earns 24 points.
Golfers that miss the cut earn last place (to make the cut) points +1 point.
I will add up all of the points earned by all of your picks.

LOWEST POINT TOTAL WINS THE CHALLENGE.

In the event of a tie: Whoever picked the highest-placed golfer will win. If the winners pick the exact same people, whoever picked the winning combo first (I can see revision history) wins.

You may make only one set of picks but you may edit them until the Wednesday night before the tournament starts. I close the thread to picks on Thursday morning.

Good luck!
*all taxes, duties or other fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. :geek:

I want Rory to win but not picking him due to him being the obvious choice.

Yep! I wouldn't pick DeChambeau if he was the only pro playing in a high school junior varsity match! Just continue to dislike the guy.

Just keep on avoiding him. DeChambeau was the difference in my lineup in the Masters that brought home the coveted cup. :D

Yeah, as much as I hate the guy he's (recently) a good pick. Which brings me to @IrishGolfer's non-pick of Rors even though he's "the obvious choice"

How am I going to win a coveted Shottalk Mug by having the same pick as everyone else!
Go Rory!! If I don't pick him he will probably win!

Coffee would have a sour taste, if I had to drink it out of a cup won by picking DeeShamboy. That would be like winning the Kentucky Derby with a horse shot full of uppers.

Meh a win is a win. Throw some more sugar in it! Actually never mind, the victory will make it sweet enough [emoji23]

The other 3 picks.;)

When Koepka was on his heater, you had to have in in your lineup if you wanted a chance to win. I put Rors in my lineup knowing he was going to be popular because if he wins (as predicted) you need to have him in your lineup to win the coveted cup. If everyone has him in the lineup it’s a wash and the other 3 picks determine your fate.
