Update...Had my 90 (more accurately 87) day check up last evening.  Down 42 pounds, could’ve been more but vacation drinks last week didn’t help, lol.  Overall halfway to my goal weight and hope to be down 50 pounds by the time I get to Denver in July for work and my birthday.

My cholesterol level is perfect.  Liver and kidney enzyme levels are perfect and most importantly my A1C number was lowered from 7.2 to 5.6.  I’ll always be classified as diabetic but I have it on lockdown and under control.

Digging the changes and the new lifestyle.  I appreciate all of the support from my ShotTalk family, y’all are the best!!!

Since I'm recuperating from my neck and back surgeries, I decided to diet and exercise. I'm down 10 pounds from Sept 1, down 27 pounds from my fattest which was in May 2015.

Still 30 more pounds to reach my goal.

You must be a big guy. I'm only 5'8" so at my fattest, 207 pounds, I was basically a sphere. :) I knew the time to lose some weight had come when I was having extreme difficulty getting in and out of the roll cage equipped race cars.

Back when I was 30 and running everyday, I weighed 145 and had a 29 inch waist. :( Can't run anymore, so I'm using a stairclimber. Today I hit some golf balls at the range for the first time in 6 months. :)

That's great. We both have 30 to go, so first one there buys the pizza and beer. :)

Was just at the doctor. I'm also 6'0" but I'm up to 260 lbs.! Gotta lot of work to do. And my ideal weight is also 200 lbs.

It's almost the end of February, and I'm at 181, down 26 from my max, 17 from where I started this year, 21 to go. On the discouraging side, I'm just now getting back to where I was before the perfect storm of Thanksgiving, my birthday, Christmas, and New Years. I gained 10 lbs in those 6 weeks. :(

I’ve been doing the Keto diet for the last 4 weeks. The feeling of being full for longer is an upside. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Now that I am retired, I'm doing better with diet and exercise. 177 this morning, down 30 from my all time high. 17-27 more to go, whatever it takes to get to a 32" waist.
