He is the former blocking back for the Patriots, Sam Gash. Years ago, Sam was recruited personally in Hendersonville, NC by Joe Paterno and took karate at the school I did. He was a super HS running back. I remember he had a neck as big as my thigh (which is pretty big).

The reason I bring this up is because I was given the task of teaching Sam all the basics for quite awhile. He wouldn't probably remember me but I did follow his career after being able to help him learn karate.

I'd love to be able to give him a message and see if replies.

Anyway, that's pretty cool you got to teach him!

I don't know anyone famous, that I know of. My father in law has met many a famous folks though through his job. Mostly famous people in the motorcycle world though...not sports.

Once we were playing Sentry World GC in Stevens Pt and Bart Starr walked passed our cart when we were going to the back 9. Oh yeah, and my purple heart certificate was signed by LBJ. That's pretty much it for celebrities in my life.

Totally worth whatever they charge? They always have a booth at the golf show.

That flower hole is breathtaking. Hard to concentrate on your shot.

I think so, John/Zaphod loves it as well. Only an hr drive for myself so it's no big deal, for you it's damn near 3.5 hrs.

WBL lives in Waupaca, about 45 minutes from Sentry World. You could stay there, Bob.
