Paddleboarding...of sorts

The Kiwi bro-in-law lent me his paddleboard last night. It was a beautiful evening, as you can see in the photo, but any ambitions of me gliding through the water were quickly dispelled. The waves were too high and I wiped out every time. It's a lot harder than it looks. We ended up just body surfing, me and the young lad and the dog. Good fun, gorgeous sunset. The photo does not do it justice.

Did you try knee-boarding on it?

I've only done it on glass smooth water...I didn't find it that difficult...but with waves, I can see that being a major problem. Fantastic core work out.
