I had these back in August for one round. The wedges were sweet. I'll play them twice this week. Stand by.

I just hit a large bucket with these irons. Some interesting observations. The heads look like a playa's club in the bag, but at address, the face looks huge in comparison - almost an optical illusion, and very confidence inspiring (looks like a lot of room to 'miss'). They definitely feel and sound like a forging - soft, with that distinct click at impact. Now the shafts. I have no idea what the hell a TT FeatherFlight shaft is, but that's what the label says. These are R flex and have a funny step pattern - lots of short steps close together in the middle of the shaft. It feels to me like a ZZ-Lite - firm shaft with a soft tip is the best way I could describe the feel. The flight of these weak (traditional) lofts is high, even the 7 iron flies high, so I am going to have to club up on course. Once I got loosened up, the shots were flying high and straight - king of the driving range, right? Gaming them tomorrow and Friday in two different league matches. We'll see what happens. The real test will be the wedges. Our courses here have the green surrounds grassed with a velcro/brillo pad-like bermuda, - if your ball is down in that stuff, forget getting it close to the pin - just try and get it on the green, My wide-soled shovels are NOT very effective in that junk, so I am hoping these sharpies will work better. I gotta hit more greens from the fairway. Bottom line from the range is - you don't have to be a single digit widget to game these - they are pretty friendly. Stand by.

Shot 80 today in league match. Was good enough for 1st place. Today's match was low net.

These irons are the real deal. They fit me just right. Gotta club up for the lofts but I got that figured out in a few holes. These soles love tight Bermuda lies and the wedges were money in the Velcro/Brillo green surrounds. Used the 8 and 9 for a few nice up and downs and the sand wedge saved my ass twice. This is my low score on this track and it includes a triple bogey. Most if my full iron shots today were with the 7 and the wedges. GigaGolf made me a nice set of forgings. I only wished I had the 6 iron once. If that happens frequently, I know where I can get one. PapaD is happy.

38 today in couples league. Got to hit more full shots with the 7, 8 and 9 today. These clubs are sweet feeling and performing. Ordering the 6 iron today. These could actually stay in the bag for a month or more.

SWMBO shot lights out - we used her net on most of the holes. Love that woman!
