I'm thinking of removing the paint fill from the back of my two wedges and leaving only the black swoosh with paint fill in it. What's the best way of doing this?

Acetone, small wire brush. Might take several applications. YouTube is loaded with videos on the topic. Fingernail polish remover works too.
