The G10 I bought off my buddy has benched the Covert Tour. Seriously thinking of taking the Kiyoshi white out of the Nike and having it put in the G10. The Ping has a
.350 hozel and the shaft is .335. Is that a big deal?

I'm not gonna do it myself. I'm not patient enough. I don't have a shaft puller and don't want to screw up a shaft that retails for $400 bucks!

Golfworks and BillyBobs sells adapters for PING to accept .335 shafts, or you can just shim it. I'd spend the few bucks to get the adapter - they make the job look/fit nice. Send it to me and I'll do the swap for the cost of the parts.

It's super easy with the right equipment. If you have a golf shop around they should be able to swap out for $20 or so.

I'm gonna take it to the shop I bought the Nike from. They are a golf digest top 100 club fitter and do great work. Very reasonable as well.

I appreciate the offer but I'll just take it to the shop. Gonna play with it a few more times and make sure I'm not making a rash decision. I might even wind up buying a different shaft off the bay to put in it.
