Hank Haney’s comment about the US Women’s Open was spot on. Then Woods had the temerity to take the moral high ground about the treatment of women.

Tiger must have picked up all his feminist values when he played golf with Trump.

I think it happened when he nailed the neighbor’s daughter while Elin was out. All class.

First off...I couldn't care less about what he said or how he worded it. But social media will hang you for anything they deem racist or sexist.

I'm not one to be PC...ever....but being on a radio show and in the Social Media like Haney is, even I cringed a bit at his 'I'll pick Lee....cuz the odds are good'. Knowing how twitter is going to take it.

Just because he was right doesn't make it any less offensive to those offended by it.

Most race/sex based stereotypes are rooted in fact/statistics...that won't stop the Twitter mob with their proverbial torches and pitchforks from electronically lynching anyone that speaks about said stereotypes.

A commentator put it well recently: “Twitter isn’t real life.”

On a personal note, given how Twitter has metastasised, I can’t think of one good reason to have an account

I do have an account, mainly because I'm in the tech world and lots of really smart people post very interesting technical things there, but they also like to post their generally uneducated political ramblings and rantings...I'm getting less and less out of it. It's funny, with how technically smart a lot of these people are, they're political idiots that consider themselves super powers in that arena.

Probably because every time they post something, most of their followers praise them as such, and they ban anyone that voices differing view point. Just a hunch...

I personally think social media would be better and used more if political posts could be automatically filtered and blocked. And, I think the inventor of this technology would be an instant millionaire. I get so tired of all the politics. Why can't people just live and let live? I don't agree with Glark's sheep molestation lifestyle, but I don't have to condemn him either. I choose to let him be happy without telling him that even the sheep say he's hung like a gnat. Why can't other people be that tolerant?

I got really frustrated at a couple of my "friends" posting nasty political memes on June 6th... the day we remember D-Day. I don't care about your political leanings. Thousands have died in defense of our ability to have differing political opinions. I just feel that Memorial Day... the day we remember those who have died in defense of our freedom... D-Day... the day we remember the 4,000 who died turning the tied of WWII and saving the world as we know it... July Fourth... the day we celebrate the birth of the greatest country we are so blessed to live in... and Veterans Day... when we thanks those who have or are currently serving in our military, defending our freedoms and liberties... those days should be focused on the things that bring us together as ONE and not the posting of divisive political trash. I understand we do have a freedom of speech which allows us to voice our opinions. Still... it just rankles me when the sacrifices of so many seem to be tarnished by those from either side of the political spectrum driving wedges that divide us rather than unite us.
    Rant over.

If the sheep can tolerate Glark, then it seems we could live and let live. Agreed.

I agree. But two points arise. (1) There’s a whole industry out there of people wanting to force others how to think and act. (2) Your expressed preferences probably place you in the Libertarian category. The people who embrace point 1 won’t like you and won’t play fair.
