If you had 40 monkeys on 40 typewriters, this could not have unfolded any better.

Barnum and Bailey have nothing on this 3 ring circus. I don't even care about the whole thing, I just tune in for the entertainment.

LOL, great point here. It is getting whackier each day.

Initially I defended Tiger, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Now I don't know what to think. As stated earlier, I'm more disappointed in him than I thought I would be.

did i just hear on the TV that another ambulance was called to Tiger's house last night?

btw, i also just read that both moms(Elin's and Tiger's) were at the scene of the fire hydrant crash last week. guess they were at the house visiting and got to see the whole thing.

Elin's mom is an elected official in Sweden. She just flew in over this past weekend to be there for Elin. They're reporting that she suffered from "severe stomach pains" and that's what prompted the call for an ambulance.

Does anyone remember when Elin cooked some pasta for TW soon after their marriage? He was upchucking during the final round of a tourney, due to food poisoning from Elin's cooking. Wonder if, to take Elin's mind off this mess, her mom said, "Hey, Elin, why don't you go cook up something for us for dinner!" If that's the case, maybe Elin needs to just invite about a dozen skanks over for dinner one evening!!!:laugh:

10 women now, Elin buying a home in Sweden, her Mom being rushed to hospital at 2:30am, VIP fuk fests galore and on and on and on. If this was a soap opera no one would watch because it would be too unbelievable. There is no recovery from this, Tiger Woods as the world knew him is dead.

Tiger Woods as the world knew him is dead.

Unless he wins the next 4 majors. Its Tiger's slow season, if he comes out next year and lights up the golf course and wins some majors, people will forget all about this.

Yes, we now know more about what kind of human being he is, but if he keeps on winning people will start to forget the transgressions. Some folks will never forgive and forget, but winning tends to gloss over past misdeeds.

How else can you explain Kobe Bryant's shirt still being one of the top sellers in the NBA?

Kobe was never presented to the world as the face of good and honest as Tiger was.
I highly doubt with all that has happened, and what is yet to transpire, that Tiger will have anything resembling a successful year. I truly feel this is the beginning of the end both on and off the course.

Shit like this is so wacked out & the intense pressure now will possibly drive Tiger to do shit he had never even considered. My boss thinks if it gets bad enough that suicide could be one end. I personally think he may quit golf entirely. he can hide in his house for 5 years & refuse to answer questions, but his 1st tournament back he will get hammered.

I agree with Lyle that Tiger as we knew him is gone & done for.

Had this been a one or two floozy affair... had the "re-nup" been successful and he had appeared at tourneys with his lovely wife and two children... the media that is hungry for the sports stories would have continued to document the chase after Jack's record.

Each day, this gets weirder. Now, we're finding the first one to break... Rachael... may have been nothing but a "set up" girl (a pimp). That's why she was paid off to keep her silence. She was the "advance party", setting up girls for TW and other sports figures. She, it's rumored, set up his meetings with the 2 porn stars.

We've got porn stars and waitresses from Perkins. We've got stories, now, of unprotected sex with all or most of them. We've got ambulances being called to his home at all hours of the night. This is about the first day... in 10 days... another hasn't come forward with fairly solid stories of dalliances.

I just don't see how the enormity of this story can be swept under the rug. I can't see golf fans... I can't see died in the wook TW fans... pulling for him as they once did since this story has unfolded. If he does come back... If he comes back and actually does beat Jack's record... it will have a much diminished applause and, in a large number of fans minds, will always be followed by an asterisk.

If Tiger wants to survive this he needs to get on Oprah, Letterman, Leno, etc....

He needs to do a huge public mea culpa and do it right away.
The quick hemorrhage is better than a slow bleed which may not end for months.

If he hides and later has the sack to show up to a tournament, imagine the press and the gallery calling the name, "Cheetah".

He has to get public.

The questions at the tournaments would be answered the same way he does everything - bland and useless. Tiger is NEVER a good quote for just about anything. He's vanilla, which is why sponsors have loved him to date.

Now that he's f*cked up royal, I'm curious to see what happens sponsor-wise. My guess is nothing. Business as usual.

I think most of his ponsors will end up dumping him eventually. And I think the interviews will be better because no he has been revealed & the media no longer has to be afraid of upsetting Tiger & not getting a good interview. His days of brushing people off as if he were some sort of deity are over & done with.
