...in Limp's oatmeal. He's storming it up these days. Drinking lots of prune juice, getting his bowels in good shape. And the Limp Man is going to have to scoff it down in front of all us Nerds!!

It's about that time of year when I go from oatmeal to Honey Nut Cheerios anyway. If'n I have to leave the last bowl of oatmeal sittin' out by the curb... so be it. Cain't help it if'n these young'uns on Tour have spines that turn to Jello when a washed up, has been puts a little pressure on a putt or two. :D

I'm still not ready to say he's "back". He most certainly looks more competitive, today, than in any of his attempts to return. There has never been a PGA player compete after a spinal fusion. Hopefully, Tiger continues his dialed back swing so as to not cause a permanent injury that could put him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
For years, I said his body could not hold up to the stress of his violent swing. That was proved correct. It appears to me he has dialed it back and that could keep him playing for years to come. He also seems to have regained the mental state where he can almost will a ball into the hole. That mental "gift" won so often for him over others with as good as or better than game on a specific day. In his previous attempts to return to competitive golf, his game seemed overpowered by a mind that simply could not cope with an errant shot or a missed putt. This time, the mental game is back and that should put every other PGA player on notice.

He may... and probably will... win some more PGA events. I'm still not satisfied he can or will win another Major. The first weekend of April will find me glued to the television as that will tell a lot about whether the "Tiger Effect" on the Game... on the Field... on the future of golf has risen from the ashes.

In a field rated a C- at the best. If it weren't for Woods and Fowler, who else is playing. Molinari is about the only other person in the top 10 we've even heard of. If Woods has to resort to playing these "B" tournaments to get back into the winner's circle, at least he may be rejuvenating the juices that will push him to do what is necessary to win in the more top-rated tournaments.

He's moving up the FedEx and world rankings. He looks good, but not great. His finish here at the Quicken is in the weakest field ever - doesn't help his cred with me, anyway. If he can get a top 10 in a major, I'll be watching with more interest.

The only other "A" player on the leaderboard was Molinari who won it running away. He finished 10 strokes ahead of Woods. Woods finished tied for 4th, but everyone was a looonnnnggg ways behind Molinari. Anyone who does not consider this a weak field and assumes a 4th place finish in this field means he's "back"...……….. I really do believe he is slowly recovering his "game". The real question is whether the fused back, or many other body parts, will hold up long enough for him to be able to compete in majors.

Looks like Tiger and Phil are looking to do a match play event for $10 mil. Both players will wear a mic.
