TM - up for sale. Good or bad thing?

Addidas has them (TM, Adams and Ashworth) up for sale. I wonder what the price tag is?

Any thoughts / feelings about the TM brand and clubs over the last 10 years?

The sale of TM is a slight surprise. I always thought that Ashworth clothing and Adams clubs were an ill fit and superfluous. Having said that, Fortune Brands dumped Titleist and Footjoy some years ago in what was a shock at the time.

I see that Adidas is going to concentrate on golf clothing and golf shoes. Most probably where the easy money is.
