I have been watching quite a bit of golf recently, and have really gotten to like 2 very different swings.

McIlroy - I love the fluidity and athleticism in his swing
    Kaymer - Balance, Control, Power.

I would have to say McIlroy is my favorite swing right now, mostly because we're the same size. (5'10/160) I want to hit it like he does. :)

I would love to swing it like Luke Donald. I think his is the perfect one to model for me, as I always struggle with balance and a proper turn.

Ernie and Freddy always have a place in my heart. But I will agree with you on Kaymer, he's poetry in motion.

Another guy I like is Adam Scott. His swing is pretty silky.

LOL - we never seem to agree. I hate freddies swing. Adam Scott swings like a robot, no real rhythm.

I'll give you Ernie - he's always been one of my faves

I hate to do it. Really.
But I have to agree with Rock. Couples has a beautiful swing.

Going old school my all time favorite has to be Sam Snead.

You can just imagine Freddie yawning in between getting to the top and at impact...it shouldn't be allowed to look that easy

Exactly. If the guy hadn't developed back problems, I can only imagine the number of tournaments he would have won. A shame, forsure.

The craziest thing is, his putter ain't bad either!

Not saying his tempo isn't great because it is.

Watch him in slow mo - he literally picks the club up Furyk like, then sets it back on plane and uses his great hands to produce all the power. His swing is horrible IMO. He makes it look effortless tho. To each his own

For VT....maybe not quite as languid as Sir Freddie but still awesome tempo. I like this clip a lot - don't think he's changed much since 2008

Let me be clear about Freddie.

I love watching him hit a golf ball. His rhythm is amazing. I would never recommend anyone try to swing like that or emulate his mechanics is what I am saying.
