Cool to see him win yesterday. He has had his struggles, and was close to missing his tour card and relying on sponsors invitations. Not sure why, maybe injury? But it's great to see these guys who make comebacks, hope for us all. And he seems like a pretty cool guy, he lines up his putts like a gymnast on crack!

IG, from memory the cause of his doldrums was a familiar tale. Poor putting.

He won't be lining up putts like that for very much longer.

He was a media poster boy a couple of years ago. Everytime the media waxed on about him being irresistible to women I would have a 'mini-vom'.

The double L pairing in Spanish phonetics makes one of two sounds based on region. In Europe, it would make a "y" sound. Veyages. But in South America, it would make a J sound. Think of Jose María Olazabel, who mysteriously has a th in his name, because z makes either an s sound in South America, and a "th" sound in Europe.

The th is regional ... Catalonia iirc, as in Barthelona.

    I can't say Villegas without thinking V-jay-jay.
