sssmokin, jhmeg2 and I went out for 18 yesterday. First beautiful, warm, sunny day we've had here in Wisconsin without wind also. As usually jhmeg2 made sssmokin and I look like beginners (the guy can play) but I felt I hit the ball pretty decent overall. Mostly couldn't putt on those greens which probably measure 15 on the stimp meter. Horrible putting killed me.

Don't know what it actually is. Just that it's too fast. It did feel like putting on linoleum though.

50/40. Played better than what my score showed so I'm actually not too unhappy about it. My misses weren't off by much, just always barely ended up in trouble. Working with a change that a pro told me to do so even with a high score, did not have a single snap hook. On the right track once I get confidence with the new swing

Played in a match, was ~+2 for 16 where I won. Played very solid, happy with my game. Lots of solid shots so it is looking promising!

The roll continues! A quiet and very satisfying 76 today in tough conditions including 2 doubles! The hard work starting to pay off.

Red tee experiment today with my 10 year old. Started off birdie, birdie and were +1 at the turn...finished with an 80. Had a blast, red tee experiment was fun! My kid hit the ball pretty good, proud of him!

Damn, you must've been steaming. 11 stroke difference from front to back?? You're considerably better than me, but I'm pretty consistent. Overall score and front to back I hover around bogey golf. From hole to hole my card looks crazy sometimes, I have taken every path to bogey golf. The other day I followed up an 8 on an easy par 4 with a 2 on a hard par 3. I need short game improvement, but have zero time to practice right now. I've been putting decent with that Rife, but I hate that the club is dictating my setup. I've been taking Kevin Na time to putt because I can't get comfy.

Well I have been trying to work the mental game. Focus on the the hands through the ball, aim small, miss small, let the clubs be what they are. But once I hit 12, which was this black grass scaley thing and four putted, it changed me for the rest of it. Its all good, I used to not even get that far.

I think I got me a wee silver pot for my troubles on Saturday, plus about £100 in prize money. We were out early and the day turned progressively nasty, the wind and rain really picked up. I thought I had blown my chances with the two doubles, but posting a score early looks like it did the trick.
    ...now thinking of turning pro...
