A lot of my longest drives were during tournaments when my adrenaline was pumping. When the pressure is on and my heart is beating out of my chest, I just try to make good solid contact and then bang, I look up and the ball is going 20 yards longer than normal. I have to account for this with my approach shots too. I was in a sudden death playoff during a Major of the GCAT several years ago and I airmailed a green with a wedge and lost. That shot was all over the stick too and I was heart broke when I saw it sail over the green.
