    3. Keep your eyes on the spot at least for a couple of seconds after hitting the ball with putter.

    and off course, keep your head down - that way you can't see everybody laughing at you!!:D

    Carry one wedge, say a SW, and learn to hit EVERY shot imaginable with that wedge before adding more wedges to the bag.

    the best advice i ever got was from my grandfather as a solution to putting woes. "Hit the ball and listen for it to go in the hole." my first time trying it it worked like a charm i would hit a putt and then stand there with my head down until I heard it hit the bottom of the cup. Never had so many one putts in my life. True story!

    "Dont take golf too seriously." My neibor told me that back in '98 when I first started playing golf and its a phrase that has served me well in keeping me from taking golf too seriously and getting upset when I hit a bad shot or on days when I dont have my best swing.

    My self perceived best outings have nothing to do with my score or how I play. It all has to do with how I feel about it. If I'm having fun even after some shanks or duffs its still one of my favorite outings
