2004? Working for someone else. With another woman. I hadn’t taken up golf yet. In 2005 she gave me a gift voucher for golf lessons. We broke up. I took up golf.

I was in Orlando, FL. Actually was able to hack around courses in less than 100 strokes back then. My golf gamed peaked in the mid 90’s.

I joined Shot Talk in 2006. Have been known for a few short and concise posts since. ;)

Was working out on the road, staying in hotels. Shot Talk gave me some golf addiction relief on bored evenings. Amazing how many hours of my life has been wasted on here!!!!!!!

2007 is my join year, and I was green as could be in the golf game. The only real experience I had with golf was when I found my Grandpa's golf clubs in my garage one day and took them out in the back yard and hit wiffle balls around with them and got yelled at for digging up the yard.

2006 I met the woman who is now my wife, and her Father was a pretty good golfer. He gave me a set of his old clubs and a bag and I spent almost every spare hour of my life at the driving range or watching YouTube video's on how to get rid of my horrific slice. I wish I had video of my swing back then...it had to be so over the top I'm surprised I didn't hit my left leg with the club after hitting the ball.

In 2004 I had just become a dad for the 2nd time. That child has grown into a pretty damn good golfer. I still stink up the game. :D
