The Packers are looking better (at least their offense). Defensive line is playing outstanding but the defensive backs are being burned constantly. I think Childress is going to be okay. The Vikings have a great defense. They just need a young, mobile quarterback and some ends.

When the Packers beat the Pats this week they might still have a chance to make the playoffs but very doubtful. The Pats are down the tubes. They aren't that good this year. Even if they would beat the Packers they wouldn't be any good. I see the Bears or Seahawks against either the Chargers or Colts. New York (Giants), Carolina, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Denver, New England, Baltimore are all pretenders. Only possible upstart could be Philadelphia.

The vike are getting burned over the middle quit often. and the offense just doesn't seem to get it. They only have a handfull of offensive TDs!!

I can see the colts and the bears.

All I have to say is, how about those Seahawks baby? 2&1 with backups in the QB and RB spots, 6 and 3 overall and by virtue of the fact that they have already beaten the Giants they are in pretty good shape right now.

Yep. Although this is more of a "given" than a "newsflash".

I'm betting on the NFC in the Super Bowl. Any takers? Some piece of golf equipment? Or a few bucks?

I'd bet on the Bears to take Indy out. We shall see about the rest.

Okay, you're on. Doesn't matter what teams are in, just NFC over AFC (me). (Is $4 Canadian about $1.50 US?):D

$4 Canadian is damn near $4USD.

You can thank your president and the war for that. ;)

I wouldn't say the status of the US dollar is directly related to the war.

Not directly, but the pressures of it on the local economy are.

There are too many teams struggling right now. I think they could potentially even lose another one and get in. Great win over the Browns. They gotta stop turning the ball over already. I have never seen a team this good with such a bad record,it's all because of turnovers.

Well, look at the brilliant coaching job the Packers got against the Pats. They didn't even show up. Pathetic, idiotic coaching job. Thompson has screwed up the Packers so bad he even has outdone Dan Devine. Let one of the top receivers in the league go and two top lineman. Notice how well Najeh Davenport is doing for the Steelers? And Sharpe is doing well for the Vikings? And letting Mike Sherman go after an injury plagued season. What a moron. Sherman got them to the playoffs every year except last year. McCarthy doesn't even know to hide his mouth when reading plays so the lip readers can't pass it on. In the Minnesota game the Vikings defensive co-ordinator was listening to the play before he called his defense. It was so obvious. Camera shot of McCarthy blabbing the play, camera shot of defensive co-ordinator getting the play from above and calling the defense. Duh.
