That crap with pulling plugs and fogging the cylinders, draining the gas or running Stabil thru it is just that, all crap.

Stabil is not needed, other than that, yeah you should do it. Just because you haven't and it has worked, doesn't mean its the right way. I know of vehicles that haven't had the oil changed it over 50k miles, still running just fine. Should do suggest that's the proper way to maintain it?

Do you not maintain the lower unit? You mentioned nothing about that, it should be changed yearly. All linkages should be lubed yearly. 4 stroke oil changes should be done yearly. Prop should be removed and inspected as well as the splines lubed so it doesn't seize yearly.

Make this all a part of winterization and you never have to worry about it.

Diddnt but it, but I caught it

Lol whimp best part about fish is catchin them
We will have to agree to disagree on that. To me there is nothing more boring than fishing. And I don't eat fish so it's even more boring

    Glad you like fishing though!

"Boring" depends on how you do it. By yourself at some pond somewhere, yeah I can see that.

Trolling for blues, king or spanish mackeral off the coast in a boat with a couple buddies and some beer makes for a great day!

One day, I'd love to go fly fishing for trout in a stream/river just to try it. I'd have to be with someone who knew how as I've done very little fly fishing in my life. But, I think it would be great to try it!
