I dig it! I'm a fellow Odyssey #9 guy too
I was pretty disappointed in the feel. It’s milled 303 stainless and retailed at like $400 when it came out. I expected the ball to just melt into the club face....it did not.
Cleveland CBX Wedges 54* and 58*.
More forgiving Wedges to go with my new Exotics irons. Kind of strange that almost every club in my bag is titled CBX even though they come different manufacturers. No individual pics of the Wedges, just a group pic of my clubs post regrip this morning. Pulled the Wedges out of the box as soon as FedEx delivered, pulled the plastic off, and ripped the grips off. Installed new grips across the irons, Wedges, and putters.
Irons, Wedges, and hybrids received Golf Pride mid size MCC Plus 4’s in gray, putters Super Stroke Traxion Tour XL 3.0’s (what a b!%@# to install) and Driver/3W in Lamkin Sonar midsize.

Found the MCC plus 4’s on Amazon for less than $11, same day delivery. Will use them again.Love the GP plus 4 grips, worth every penny of the $11 they ask for.
Hate superstroke grips with a passion, they replaced Winn grips (any of them) as my least favorite grip ever. Glad you like them though, different strokes!

I find the SS putter grips the most comfortable for my hand position. I also prefer larger and longer grips on my putters as I tend to place my pointer finger (trigger finger if you are Glark), down the back of the grip/shaft. The extended length SS grips just make the grip more comfortable and natural. I have installed SS grips before with minimal trouble, but the XL grips were a beast to get started and took a lot of energy to get into their final resting position.
I see to love Winn grips, until they wore out if you looked at them wrong.![]()
I am glad I jumped on two sets of these as they completely sold out now, unless you want to pay $1400 a set for the Black Pearl edition. They are a great set of irons, probably worth the $1400, but I am ecstatic I was able to acquire them for $399 a set.UPS arrived early! It’s like Christmas in October.
As mentioned earlier, I had placed another order with Tour Edge last week as I found a deal too good to pass up while I was searching for my CBX hybrids. I ordered two sets of Tour Edge Exotic CBX Iron-Woods 5-AW. Yes, two sets of irons, buying things in two now to have similar bags in Florida and Texas.
When Tour Edge released these, silver was the standard color and Black Pearl was limited release. Apparently, folks preferred the Black Pearl finish so much that it is now the only ones they are making in full iron sets and the silver finish are being closed out. $399 for a set of irons that was going for $1400 with Project X HZRDUS Black shafts. $57 per club.
Not a lot of info on these on the inter webs except for the long iron replacement clubs but everything I found was favorable.

Soooo, I didn't NEEED a new driver was gaming the titleist 915D2, so I figured I should spend money, and picked up a new titleist TS2, and stuck a Tour AD BB6-X in it. Still only hit it 260...
