What's the weather where you are?

Rained all day yesterday and threatening showers/storms again tonight. Very wet spring here. Which is good after a very dry summer last year.

    Some heroes don't wear capes.

I always thought this saying was bullshit...until I saw this: Now I believe.

    Pro Shop Jerks

I generally play at courses where blue jeans are considered 'dressed up' We don't have too many issues with pro shop jerks lol

What's the weather where you are?

Absolutely beautiful here today. Low 70's with very little humidity. Oldest son had baseball practice, then we got some lunch and hit up a local park so his younger brothers could play for a while. Softball game tonight and my daughter got someone to cover her shift so she could play with...

    General Hockey Talk

I wouldn't mind seeing my boys play hockey...but we would have to drive 40 minutes to get to any ice around here. I'm too old to start that shit at this point.

What's the weather where you are?

It hit 80 for the first time this year last Saturday. Winds were an easy 40+mph though..so not that enjoyable. Back into the 40's/50's now though. That's more my temperatures anyway. 80+ is too hot.

    WHEN YOU GET OLD

My paternal Grandfather made sure to let me know that I was the last male of our namesake. My father only had one brother, and he had 5 girls trying for a boy. So I was it. So after I had a girl he made me promise to at least have one more, and make sure it was a boy. I figured, if 1 son...

    What did you buy today?

Do you always run the long clubs on the stand side of the bag or is that only for when you're going to be using it in a cart?

Need new(to me) iron and bag suggestions...

Do they not have 14 individual fully lined shots anymore? Seems like that was all the rage...and I enjoyed not having to fight with my clubs to get them in the bag. Not to mention they were all perfectly organized all the time. I see one of the Sun Mountain(the most expensive obviously)...

    WHEN YOU GET OLD

My daughter is 16 now, turns 17 in July...She's finally making me feel old. Girl can put food away like no other and never gains any weight. Being a semi-competitive swimmer helps that quite a bit... Sons are 9, 5, 2. It's funny how going to kids events are different now. When we used to go...

Need new(to me) iron and bag suggestions...

Never made it to the range...but I did make it out to a local 9 hole today. It went really well early. I was 7 over through 6...and then the wheels fell off. I put 2 in the water off the tee on 7. 1 OB off the tee on 8 and just generally played like absolute shit on 9. Ended up shooting a...

    The Random Thoughts Thread

Sort of the same, but not quite as cool... I happened to be wearing a red polo and black slacks at work one day...looking like Tiger on Championship Sunday although that wasn't my intention. That day I decided I wanted a Mcdouble...so I headed to McDonalds down the street from my office and...

    What did you buy today?

Will definitely post some pictures when we get them. I was actually looking into Rawlings 'Pro Preferred' and 'Heart of the Hide' models along with the other mainstay of quality gloves the Wilson A2000. However, the Heart of the Hide are $350 and pro preferred are $400. That's off the shelf...
