5 years ago we had no square headed clubs. Now we have quite a few. I think the problem is that so many companies are making products now that you expect so many so fast.
20 years ago nothing changed except about every few years. Now people want a change immediately. Give it time, things...
Fortune Brands will ABSOLUTELY NOT sell Acushnet. Footjoy and Titleist are far too profitable. Fortune Brands is one of my biggest clients and I assure you, they are in acquisition mode, not the other way around.
Nike is not an Asian company. Yes their products are manufactured there (so are tons of others) but Nike is US owned and operated. And Titleist is owned by Acushnet which is owned by one of the larger companies around. Fortune Brands is not selling them anytime soon.
If that is your theory, why spend so much on clubs? I mean Vokey wedges arent really needed at that price tag are they? A high end 3 piece ball is not slightly better than a Rock Flite D2. It is night and day better.
I think Adams makes the best Hybrids out there. Im a little biased yes, but I have tried all the others. The only one I can find that can compete are the Nickents. They were the innovators and everyone else just followed suit.
We ordered some steaks from Lobels. Only used them one other time, and for any steak lovers out there, I say give in and try it. They truly are the best in the world. They arrived today fresh and are going on the grill in 2 hours.
I wont give out any info and no I was not misbehaving. I just dont really need to be a part of a dictatorship. I thought that was not the way of the world anymore. Im all for sarcasm, but when the "leader" wants to do nothing but put down the young kids on the board that is when me as adult...
I play NXTs almost exclusively now. But before that I was trying to keep it at $20 or less. My favs in that category are Bridgeston E6+, Titleist DT Solo, Precept U Tri Tour, and Wilson Zip. If you can find a 3 piece ball in your price range, that will produce the most feel for you. But I...
There is a local shop here that specializes in used balls. They buy them from all of the private clubs around. For years I wouldnt go near them. Now I can pick up my ProV1s for $19.99 and NXTs for $14.99 and they are all in good shape. Have not had a problem with them yet.
