When making the shift to graphite, finding the right weight is the trick. If you have access to a fitter, it's helpful. I've done the ho-ing/experimental method and 55g is about right for me, with 65g as acceptable. Graphite really helps with the pain mgmnt when you play 3 to 5 times a week.
I won't own a putter that can't scoop a ball off the green.
More than 10 clubs in a bag is just stupid. 8 is about right.
Iron covers are anal.
Tour bags with your name on them should be banned unless you're a plus handicap.
Beautiful Les Paul! I actually sold mine this year after 19 years. Once I got the Paul Reed Smith, there was no turning back. It was the Les Paul's weight that bothered me most. The PRS doesn't have the creamy punch of the LP, but it's close. Enjoy that axe!
I use a small stand bag. I only use 8 or 9 clubs, depending on the course. Bag has minimal pockets. I carry some balls, tees, ball markers. I occasionally walk in VA, so a lightweight rig is important.
