Golfsmith 1000cc Ti Driver Head

Product Details Want to feel the power of your stroke? Look to the Golfsmith 1K driver heads!
Golfsmith is the first to offer a 1000cc titanium driver head. It's not meant for everyday play, but this huge driver head is a great conversation piece. Get creative - you can use this clubhead as a tournament prize, paper weight, or display.
6-4 all titanium construction allows for some fun, letting you tee it high and let it fly.
While it features a massive 79.5mm face height and 133mm front to back breadth, it still passes our normal durability testing for driver heads.
The headweight is 31 grams and a special .370" tip wood shaft manufactured by UST has been designed for both display and actual performance.

It would be pretty funny to give that to someone who was having trouble hitting their driver. But you could never take that to a game without getting laughed off the course.

I can see the ad copy now...

Tell that special golfer in your life...

- how bad they suck.
- how big a Nancy they are.
- that there is something with a bigger head than that noodle they call a skull.

Or buy one for yourself...

- It makes a great shield from the sun and rain.
- Rob yourself of your last bits of manhood before the world does it for you anyway.
- It's great for throttling that guy in your foursome who's started playing a week ago and gets his first ace on a course you've been playing for 20 years.
- Scare away that pesky Ranger telling you to speed it up.
- Show the cart girl that you have a Driver as big as your...score.

I saw a guy out with an extra extra big driver

It might not have been this same one but it was way oversized, the funny thing was this guy was about 5'2" tall and built like a pro wrestler. He cocked back and clobbered the ball.......170 yards and 40 off center. Made me spit up my iced tea I was laughing so hard.

Is it a bad thing that my driver is as big as the rules allow

No, not at all but we are talking about a driver that is 540 cc LARGER than the rules allow.

I would love to sit that next to my old persimmon driver,I suspect the sweetspot on that monster is actually bigger than the entire head on the persimmon club.

Lighten up people and get those twigs out of your arses!

This is only a club that will never be used in legitimate competition and is clearly meant only as a bit of fun.

Chill out.

Only problem with a head that big? If you throw the damn thing in the lake when you hit a bad shot, the fool thing will no doubt float and not sink like a good club would.
