Nice work by Honda revamping them Civic. It's unbeleivable now.

Here's a few stats and a pic for you all to check out...

"The Civic Si Concept celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Civic Si legacy in the U.S. and builds on its performance heritage with a 200-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm red line, mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type limited slip differential for improved launch traction and cornering performance.

Other performance features of the Civic Si Concept include 18-inch cast aluminum wheels, 225/40R18 high performance tires and 4-wheel disc brakes with large cross-drilled brake rotors and 4-piston Brembo calipers."

One thing I really like about this car is the voice-activated automatic door opening system.

You stand within 10 feet of the car and bellow out,

"Open your damn doors."

And they pop open automagically.

It has no door handles.

I'm down. It's looking a lot like the Accord coupe. My '97 needs to be put to sleep soon. I really want one of these:

That looks like a '05 TL. Or is it just me....

Door handles? Get with the program, B! The Japanese are way ahead of the domestic groups with their engineering. :p

Actually, with this being an anniversary edition, it wouldn't suprise me if they did something like that.

I mean, a 200HP civic? It's a friggin S2000!

What if you catch a cold? Voice would be all messed up.

They've automated everything on this baby. When you fart, the AC automatically switches to recirculate. It's amazing.

Speaking of cultural differences ;), and I'm not too prone to generalities, but can anyone comment on the Eastern distain for perfectly natural body functions? I have a very close Indian friend that is absolutely phobic of a good healthy ass biscuit. And then 2 weeks ago, I cut one to be proud of after a chili dog at the turn. My playing partner, who is a Chinese guy and (former?) close friend, jumped out of the cart at top speed-- the problem being that he was driving. I had to try to stop laughing and slide over and steer/brake before more than a little wind decided to escape. True story. Then there's the cashier at the local convenience store that got offended. And the teller at the bank...

No no... You got it all wrong.
Asians are a hoot of fun and quite, um... joyful to matters of the holes.
Would you know anyone not running after making such olfatory sensation?
How best to describe it. Try seeing some Stephen Chow movies, like God of Cookery. Absolute fun :)

Thanks for the clarification. Like I said, I'm not one to generalize... ;)
