Really? Besides his Masters win, last year he was T9 at the U.S. Open and T12 at the PGA Championship, and T16 at the British Open. Pretty good year in the majors. He only played 15 events on the PGA Tour in 2011 and had 10 top 25's and 3 top 10's. If you live under a rock you probably haven't heard his name since his Master's win.

Here's a link to the 2012 invitees. The final roster will be published on April 1st.

Of those invitees...
Mahan: Has played well there before and is playing some of his best golf.
McElroy: Ditto
Kuchar: Solid player. Would love to see his big grin sporting the Green Jacket.
Web Simpson: First Masters. Few even sniff the Top 10 on their first visit to Augusta. This youngster has been playing solid golf and seems to always be in the mix. Would make for some great press to have a first-time player win.
