Biggest story so far is that after 6 years in the league, Andrew Luck has retired at age 29.

Didn’t see it coming but don’t blame him. Colts will be a mess this year I’m guessing.

I think Kaep has stayed in shape this whole time.

So I said "biggest" story but I guess I could amend that because we have the Kaepernick story, the Eric Reid protests, and the Jay-Z debacle. And it's still only preseason!

Jay-Z used the Kaepernick situation to make a deal with the NFL (and to make money) and will be the majority owner in a team TBD. Many people of color, including a very vocal Eric Reid, are not happy with Jay-Z.

Yeah, and unfortunately I see the helmet and CTE issues continuing forever.

Yup.

Talking heads on espn were asking today if Lucks retirement would be an event we look back on as a beginning of the end of sorts for the NFL. When a high profile player retires young feasting injury? Who knows?
