Living in Queens most of my life, Bethpage was my home course(s). I'm in New Mexico now (which is by the way a golf paradise) but I miss my Bethpage.
There are 5 championship courses at the complex. The Black, Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow (in order of difficulty and "status").
Of course the Black is the premier course. I got out on the Black many times - mostly before the 2002 Open. It’s rather satisfying to see a pro score a bogey where I had a par. It’s more often the other way around though.
So many memories at Bethpage.

Edit:
Koepka just took the 1st tee and drove it past where my 3rd shot usually used to land (from the whites).

Edit:
Koepka just hit the 5th green with a PW. Absurd. He's hit every green so far. And he's inches from the hole. Koepka will this, and every tournament for the next 5 years. And this is a course that literally has made pros cry. Weep. Inconsolably. And he's waltzing around it.

I hate to say it, and I know anything can happen, but I think this thing is over

And pretty boring

Koepka said in his after-round interview, Thursday, that he is in a different state of mind on the extremely difficult courses. He's proven that with the majors he has won. Went into Bethpage Black... supposedly a course that even scared the top pros... and has conquered it. Can he finish? Can he begin winning a significant percent of the tournaments he enters? Koepka is a fantastic player. I'm not quite ready to use words like "best" or "greatest" or adjectives like that. He could be another David Duval.

Koepka is the new "best" of the best. He is one cool cucumber. When he bogeys he just goes on without worrying about it.

Is it just me, or is anyone else sick of looking at Nike logos? Enough already! The brand is becoming the Dark Side.
Never liked Nike, anyway. The sideways stripe/logo Koepka has had this week is, in my opinion, terrible. When he was wearing the black hat with the white stripe/logo, he looked like he was wearing a skunk pelt as a hat.

Basically.

I wonder if major #4 gets him some recognition ?
They said if he wins he will have won 50% of the majors he's played in. 4 of 8. Holy shit!

Quiet you! I like when my wife's Nike stock goes up. :D

Rather see the logos than watch their pros suffer with their 2nd tier clubs. Never hit a Nike club that agreed with me. They do have quite a stable of top tier pros wearing there clothing, so we are going to be subjected to the swoosh most weekends, unfortunately.

Fun fact: Everyone in the challenge picked Koepka so if he wins we're all in the playoff, lol
It’s going to come down to the 3rd and 4th picks this week. Should be a tight finish.

Too bad we couldn’t short sell pros, I would have picked Daly to miss the cut and come out ahead. :D

If Koepka can avoid a big miss and par in, its his. The back nine at Bethpage is a beast. It will take an almost impossible back 9 by DJ for him to catch up if Koepka keeps the ball in the fairway.
