He lived about a quarter mile away from me in Mass. He was about 10 years younger than I was so I only remember him as a young child. Blew my mind when my parents told me he was a pro golfer. That is one heck of a 9 hole stretch.

Ha! Same. Conversely, if I birdie the first hole... guaranteed worst round of the year.

Usually starting a round with a bogey is too bad for me, never have I ended up shooting a final score 60 mind you... maybe with a couple holes to play
