1: Aldila VS Proto 80g S flex, 39.5" long and 1" tip prep, .370 tip. Great hybrid shaft.

2. Two Royal Precision Project X 6.0 shafts. They were intended for a 2 iron but one I cut to 4i length (and tipped 1/2"), and put a Lamkin midsize grip. One is brand new and uncut. .370 tip

3. Grafalloy Epic FW, 87g, S flex, 42.75" long and 1" of tip prep. Should play 43.5 in a 3w depending on head. .335 tip.

I wouldn't say it's stout, it actually gave a pretty decent mid/high flight. I will say it has a different feel to it, it's like I couldn't ever feel it kick.

My SS isn't super high and my favorite shaft is the blue board so I tend to like shafts that have a lot of feel. This just didn't feel right to me even though the ball flight was pretty good.

Does that make any sense? LOL
