Don't know which one to get. My club fitter is telling me that the new sonartec ss 3.5 is supposedly good. Im a scratch player and i am getting my old callaway 4+. I have tried the ping g2, laucher, and the mizuno. I liked the g2 and the mizuno mp. I owned v-steel and hated it. I need a deep face club... Anyone tried the new sonartec? How about the np-99? Tell me what i should get

If you're a scratch player, do you really want some hacks from the internet to tell you what to get? "Try it before you buy it". I refuse to give equipment advice to someone that much better than me.

    Titleist PT 15 3 wood :)
Yeah, hit those before and have to say it was awesome.
Well...when I posted this what my intention was that people who have tried the woods could give me some feedback. I don't try clubs unless I am told they are really good (likethe r7). If i have some extra cash around, i would liek to buy the pt and something else. tell me what's a good 3 wood to try

Don't know if you would like it or not but the Cobra SZ has a very deep face if that's what you're looking for.

eh, cobras are not for me... i never thought they were for the advanced players (not trying to sound boastful). I did have the old baffler. it was an awesome club. I guesss i will just wait for the sonartecs to arrive

Take a look at the Snake Eyes 600T. I, like you, need a deeper-faced 3 wood. OEM is in my blood, but this club is just so damn good that it made it's way into my bag. They can be found for around 50 bucks, and i would definitely give it a try if i were you

Miz, not to be pushy, but thats the same thing i said when i saw it. But it was 35 bucks with a Striper J shaft, so i bought it, and it's gonna be tough to find something that can take it out of the bag. I was reluctant to put any non-big brand clubs in my bag, but this thing works, and it's purty too, check it out here

This isn't boastful, I feel the same way. The same can be said for the Big Bertha Series from Callaway. Made for duffers. There's nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't appeal to the better golf, simple.

I play Pro Series Hawkeye fairways. Best of the bunch, in my opinion.

my club fitter does have a pro series that he didnt sell and i was thinking of trying it bc (i have a steelhead IIi 4+) right now. But so many good things werre said about sonartecs. Yeah, i never even touch cobras when i go to shops. No offense to cobras owner or anything.

Bravo needs to address this. He is the resident Sonartec afficianado. He loves them almost as much as life itself....but I'll let him tell you that. ;)

Regarding the snake eyes offering......I'm going down to Golfsmith this week or next to pick up those iron components and while I'm there Im going to take a few swings with that 3 wood....I don't have a 3 wood currently and need to get one.

I carry a Steelhead III 7 wood. It's my "hybrid". I really like the feel of the Steelheads, nice clubs. If I had to go out and buy a new fairway 3, I'd buy a SHIII, a Ping G2 or if I was pressed, a Cleveland.

I've never hit the Sonartecs. Hell, i've never even seen one in person. It's just not a big name around these parts. Both IG and Crowe swear by them.

So they gotta be good. ;)

i may also try the kzg ch-II 3 wood. all these japanese companies make good clubs. sonartec is the #3 fairway wood on the tour. And sonartec dosnt pay the players to use their woods. So with that said, sonartec woods have to be good. The only kzg club i tried was the gemini driver. It's an awesome driver. Went much further than my 983. Hate the sound though.
