3 wood vs driver

I was using a 3w instead of a driver for awhile, but since picking up my FT-i & figuring out how it likes to be used, I never use my 3w. Driver has been on for myself that last few rds & the distance has even been increasing. Actually called out a shot yesterday that was forced carry over water but I decided to try for just bit longer shot, was going for a spot that was 251 yds away & I almost shit myself when I actually made the shot. My wife & 2 playing partners couldn't believe not only did I call the shot but actually pulled it off.

Basically i'm saying , learn to hit your driver.

Never sliced one but I shanked one five times in a row one time. That one was sent wedge heaven.
