I'm moving my 60 deg wedge. I really like to just lay back my 56 to my desired loft. How many of you guys actually carry a 60 in your bag? I can't get used to such a high lofted club.

58 degree is my highest loft club. More than enough.

Amateurs like us lose more strikes than we gain with a 60* club!!

I carry one. The lie and yardage has to be perfect for me to take a full swing though. I use it a lot for chips and pitches. I'll use it if I have to pop a fried egg out of a bunker as well. It has it's niche.

I think my game was actually better when I manipulated one or two wedges to fit the shot. Technology :)

I think people get too intimidated by it when they hear 60. I have hit many a pitch over bunkers that I was glad I hit with the 60.

I've never used one but I just saw an article somewhere by an old pro that is an instructor now and said everyone should have one. He went on about how helpful they can be, granted again I have no idea never used one.

There is no shot that you can hit with a 60* wedge that you can't hit with a 56* wedge.

I used to carry one and never had any problems with it. Only reason I switched is I wore it out and had an unused 58 in the garage.

Totally disagree. Maybe there is not a shot that YOU can hit with a 60 that YOU can't hit with a 56, but I certainly can. Besides the loft difference most 60's have a bounce around 7* or 8* where most 56's have a bounce more around 11* or 12*. For me anyways it's a different shot maker all together.

True, I use low bounce wedges, gives me more versatility with the wedge.

Bounce degree? This is new to me.... I've never heard that before.

I have always used a 60* wedge, but this year I may experiment with a 52* and 58* set up. I think I may end up going back to the 60 though, I like it for too many shots around the green.
