I picked it up from the interior guy today, and ran out of gas on the way to the station.

It needs a few things still:

Mechanic
  • Brakes Mushy
  • I don't like the way it starts.
Body Shop
  • Front bumper is crooked
Interior guy
  • Needs some more rubber and the windows don't seem right
  • Seat belt buzzer doesn't stop - ever.
A little tweaking & it's road trip time!

Let's see..here's what I've got in it now.
Car - $3000
New top - $2000
Mechanical/front end - $2000
Body work - $1000
Interior - $1000

Add another $1000 for a sound system and I'll have $10,000 in a $5000 car that gets 10mpg driving around town. But I can do it in style.

I doubt that thing would make it all the way around town without running out of gas.

Get the body guy to put on an adaptor to the fuel door where you can just push the dinosaurs into the tank directly. :biglol:

It's only 20' long. I think I've got a couple of dino's in the trunk, and there's still room for a Prius and 4 golf bags.:prop:

I picture wirehair driving this in the 4th if July parade wearing his Shriners Fez with a hot girl sitting on the back deck waving to the crowd and a sign on the side that says, "Miss Texas Short Grass 2008".

....or something. ;)

Das Boat, just kidding, sweet looking ride, you'll love it on long trips if you can afford the gas.

Does that thing come with bow and stern thrusters to help negotiate tight turns?

It kind of makes me wish I owned the local gas station near your house. :D
