This is setting up to be a great hoing weekend because of Golfsmiths all vendor demo day and tent sale. The problem is that my budget will only allow the addition of one club.

Here's my choice. My TM Rescue mid has really helped my game, to the point that I know I should add a second one. But, I have also been wanting to get one of those big mofo drivers to add a few more yards to tee shots.

    Do I...

    1. Buy a club that I think can takes strokes off my score and maybe help the US team beat those foriegn suckers.

    2. Buy some manhood on a stick so I can outdrive my buddies by a few more yards.

    What's a ho to do. :(

Get the big stick and learn how to scramble

Get the driver. You wont win much but you will have them ohhing and awing!

OH!! the driver no contest...A man is judged by how far he hits the driver, not by playing some rescue club from the rough.

Longiron said it best..."learn to scramble"

Ya dude, get the big dog.

People don't notice hybrids. They do their jobs and no one cares. Like the mailman. No, not Karl Malone....

A big, shiny-ass driver looks super dope (as the kids say) when you bring it out of the bag. Plus, being set up 280 down the pipe time after time gets boring, but it sure helps the scorecard. And, once in a while, you get cocky and smash one into the trees and you swear like a sailor.

    What more could one ask?

Get the Launcher460 Ti. I'm tellin' ya, it's the real deal.

Ok so the concensus is pretty much that score be damned cause the long ball rules.

Makes sense to me, Ill let you know how the demos go.

Buy the driver, hit the range. Take it downtown 10 times, then hit wedges til your hands bleed.

    Perscription for great golf. ;)

Make sure you take a look at the G2 and 905T Drivers!!!

Dave, keep in mind you have a home theater budget to blow out of the water soon.

My budget began at around $2K. At last check it's up to around $8K.

Man that 905T or S is like butter. I just put it in my bag last week.

    Exactly...

    Hybrids are for pussies.

    And me.

I carry a 21* Mizuno Fli Hi. Love it. The last thing I want to do after seeing a 30KM wind from the left and a 221 yard par 3 with the pin in the back is look down and see a blade in my hands.

I'm crushing the Fli Hi. It's forged, feels like a million bucks, and isn't a 3 iron.

    How can you go wrong?

    I also carry a 7 wood. And a purse.

rock, been meaning to ask you about the fli hi

what'd you pay and what shaft have you got?

They have a 17 that I'm looking at replacing my 7W with if I can't start hitting that thing and I think it's about 150 CDN at my LGS (local golf shop)

I got it from nsherman as a part of the X-16 sale. That and a Mizuno Raw Ox wedge.

I had been looking for one, he was looking to deal one, it worked out great.

I highly recommend them. Everyone that has hit it just loves it. I have no idea why Neal wanted to part with it, but I bet he's saying the same about my Callaways....lol...

It has a DG S300 shaft in it, if i'm not mistaken..

good to know, I might take it out for a driving range spin if I'm feeling special one day
