A load of old socks!!

I got 3 pairs of socks while on honeymoon. I'm wearing a pair today and they still look good. I reckon I own about 30 pairs of socks. On a rotational basis I reckon I wear them on average 10 times a year?

So that's 8 years later!! Anyone beat that?

I want to know how you stop the Twilight Zone phenomenon of putting 2 socks in the washing machine but only getting one back.

OK...speaking of socks..

Over here in the summer we wear those little tiny socks that barely cover your feet. Nothing comes up onto the ankle.

Due to the blazing summer sun - you would get a funny "tan line" if you wore socks that came over your ankles.

Any of your Euros wear these? KA - do you wear them over in the UAE??

LOL, I wear those all the time. When we go out to dinner or shopping I'll wear deck shoes with no socks and the tan line is very obvious. I can't tell you how many times complete stranger will comment that I must be a golfer because of that line.

Oh and IG, no there is nothing bad at all about having time to contemplate your socks. It just shows you are a man of leisure. If you have that much free time you might as well come to TX and play some golf. We have good whiskey and beer here.
