A shottalk outing?

Well DG do it can you ever see it happening here?

It would be good maybe in a couple of years when the board has evolved, to get a outing I know it would be difficult for me to go to it, but when i'm 18 I might be able to. It would be good, and I know it has been succesful at DG.

To be fair, the DG outings work because the site is largely made up of people that live in the midwest and east. By splitting the location difference we can have an outing with only 6 hours travel time. Then because those worked, there are now mini gatherings that also seem to work. Give this site some time to evolve. Let it get a personality and then it will be a lot easier to have get togethers, if the members would even want to do such a thing. It does seem weird to travel to an outing to play golf with someone you really do not know... I do it but I am also considered to be weird... not as in Mike Weird... just strange weird.

What are those guys like GolFlyers at DG in real life any of them you disliked.

I think if I attended one I would get into about 5 fights.


Hmm it is hard to believe that typhoon is +5 is that true, your a honest person.

Typhoon is a plus handicap. No doubt.

As for members I dislike... I just avoid certain people. I do not find any need to argue with everyone I dislike. I do have arguements, just not over personalities.

As for the people I have played golf with at outings, and Zap and I play a couple of additional times a year, I have not met anyone I haven't been able to have a very good time with. I know LB and Buck were not your closest buddies over there but I like both of those guys a lot and between Lbc and Buck, they may be the funniest people I have ever met.

Cool, yeah I heard he was a real good player but +5 is hard to believe over the net.

I'm sure in real life I would get along with anyone of the forum even lb and buck, they just annoyed me and I annoyed them over the net.

Have things calmed down there in the past couple of days now that ive gone.
