solid striking, and off the te the Encore/Fuji is a treat, but no frigging idea around or on the greens, not a freaking clue

I will chip and putt with my nob before I buy Scotty Cameron

Certainly a new putter might be on the cards and as for chipping, i just have no feel, everything hit well, just leaving myself loads of 4 footers and I might as well just pack up and go home at that length

Maltby sells a heavy and large putter that can 'stand on its own'. Allowing you to place the putter on line, step back 10 feet and check the line of the putter then adjust. Its to me the "short bus" version of putting, but scoring is the name of the game.

The putter is not missing short putts, you are. get out on the practice green and work your ass off on 4 footers. I did the Phil mick drill of circling the hole making 4 footers everyday for 2 weeks and after that I made more short putts than I had in 26 years of golf. Your a good golfer, you just need to work around the practice green more, no matter how much you hate it. Very simple solution to your putting woes, IMO.

its the beginning of the season.....the rust will shake off soon...just gotta take these early rounds like a man. i'm in the same boat. moving the ball around the course pretty well, but anything inside of 80 yards i'm screwed....just give it time and a little extra practice.
