No argument here. Probably not economically viable for the networks though.

It could if they fired Johnny Miller, Nick Faldo, Ian Baker-Finch, Dan Hicks, Peter Kostis, Peter Oosterhuis, Dottie Pepper, Paul Azinger, Curtis Strange, Mike Tirico, and (for god's sake PLEASE) Gary McCord.

They can keep David Feherty and Peter Alliss.

Of the few shots I got to see in the Open, the whereabouts of the ball after it left the clubface was something of a mystery t the cameramen so you didn't even get to see the few shots they tried to show. They usually just panned down the fairway and looked for some sort of movement from the spotters or crowd members and zoomed in.
