I always wear a glove on full shots because my hands get real sweaty. I'll take it off for short swing pitches or bump and runs, and of course for putting. I still have calluses on my right hand though

I don't wear a glove because they represent the worst of capitalist excesses in golf, the exploitation of far east workers, the total rip off by corporate America and a total and utter con.

Either that or I just can't be bothered.I stopped wearing one ages ago:)

Taking it off to putt is just bizarre to me.

I wear one simply because I like the feel of my long irons and woods more with it.

I wear one because skin to leather provides a much better grip than skin to skin. I tried not wearing a glove and I was gripping the club too tight.

I suppose you lost all sense of 'feel' when you were gripping it too tight.:)
