Anyone Played the Hogan Tour Deep Ball?

A guy at a golf shop talked me into buying a dozen of these saying that they were comparable to the Pro V-1. I haven't had a chance to hit them yet, but am playing a tourney this Saturday and am wondering how I'll like them. I usually play the Nike Tour TW or the Pro V-1.

They are closer to the nike than the titleist. It is a very good ball but not as soft as the pro v with a little more spin.

found a hogan apex tour awhile back and it performed as well as any other ball that i had hit before that, tried to find more but haven't had any luck

Very similar to the HX 56. In fact, I think it is the same ball with different dimples. "rumors" about that have been argued about on my blog... but I heard that phil was playing the tour deep when testing the 56...

I got a bunch of free samples at Golfsmith one day. I tried them out and while they are pretty long I don't get the feel from them especially when I putt.

....and the same gripe I have about all the hogan balls I've tried: They are NOT durable at all. A couple of full wedges for me and they're shaved...
