I tippling a cheeky little Chinese brew called Tsingtao tonight. Ingredients seem simple enough: Water, malt, rice and hop. All the E numbers must have got lost in translation!

Nice form, really get the rice kickin' at me. It's giving teh regulars a run for their money. I may go Chinese again! Any other Asian brews worth a pop?

I've tried Kirin but it's been awhile. It's a Japanese lagar and it's pretty smooth. As long as you're going asian you might as well give it a try.

Sapporo is another good Japanese beer. I like it better from the can, myself.

That's funny, I'm just cooking up some Sapporo Ichi Ban right now. Good stuff.

Anyhow, go back to beer talk.

Asahi, my fave. Really clean and astringent. Goes really well with raw or cooked, mild or spicy food. Plus, it comes in a 24 oz size!

Domo.

I love Tsingtao and have had it for years with my Chinese meals. It is the best Asian beer hands down. Crisp and clean...

I tried one at the Chinese Pavilion at a local ethnic festival. And that one turned into another, and into another...
