In US dollars?

Cripes, let's get the online calculator out here.... ;)

An average round here runs about 15 bucks throughout the week after 3pm. Before 3, it's about 20. Weekends and holidays it jumps to about 24, all fees listed here are without carts or balls.

We definitely have the upper hand when it comes to fees here. Drive anywhere to a major city within 8 hours and you're paying much more than that. I think the most expensive course within 45 minutes of here is 50CDN, or about 39USD.

Crazy, hey?

Well the average around here varies quite a bit....and as you can imagine, the government-owned courses are often the least expensive.

Average price runs around $40-$50US with a low being $26 and a high of about $75.

When Rock comes down - we are going to play on the airport runway to keep costs really low. Those 600 yard drives will be fun if we can avoid the jetwash from the planes....

My "home" course is $16 green fees for the day. $10 per 18 for cart fees. The average in the area is $30ish.

It's a pretty big range so average is tough. Low is $10.00 plus cart to around $80.00 on one of the private courses. There are a couple of nice public courses you can play during the week for $25-$35.

I don't mind paying for golf, especially with something as rare as this opportunity. I mean, it's golf i'd otherwise be paying for if there wasn't 4 feet of snow on the ground, right?

Although, I would like to try that runway long drive.... :)

We get some priciness out in this neck of the woods.

An average muni round is usually around $40-$50, with exec courses being closer to $20-$30. Some of the nicer munis run upwards of $60-$70, depending on where they are. The local public courses tend to run for amounts closer to the higher muni prices and upwards of $200. Those are all CDN funds though, and I'm too lazy to do the math. But $50 US is about...what...$60 or $65'ish CDN right now.

I have a membership so during the summer I golf like 5 times a week. But in my area it ranges form 10-30 and all inbetween it just depends on the course.

Jason, sounds like you guys have prices like ours in Vancouver. Do you also have a good number of courses that charge over $100? Bastards try to keep the poor man down in the summer...

i live in the golf bargain basement.....muni's around here are 20 dollars or less for 18 holes, and good courses are usually between 40-60 dollars. The course i'm at offers a junior membership for 250 dollars, so it's a no-brainer for me. Regular memberships are 4-500, so it's pretty cheap around here

i gotta move!!

no wonder you guys get so many rounds in a year!!

in the sj/sf bay area the muni's are $40-60 on the low end... weekday. it goes up exponentially from there! well over $100 isn't uncommon.

of course, this is much better than when i was growing up in palm springs!
