Well I told Roberno yesterday that I'd go with Golfshoesonly for my gift certficate from the Masters pool. Haven't gotten the code yet and I'm thinking of contacting him and seeing if I can change my mind back to GG.

They have 3 drivers I'm interested in. R7425 9.5* with a Diamana S63, I asssume a blueboard. 2 R7 Quad TP's, one with a 757 and the other with a Fit on 6. I'd have to throw in another $20 for any of these. Opinions?

Oh, the reason I'm even considering the QuadTP is it's a lot like my FW's, which I am hitting very, very well. So thinking the transition would be easier.

What about the SuperQuad? I've heard it's the bomb. ;)

I figure I'm pretty much getting it for free, why not try one. The FW's are the best things since sliced bread and I've not hit a TP with a decent shaft in it yet.

Anyone know anything about the Fit on 6 specs?

Hell, just go ahead and get all 3 at once and save on shipping. You know you're eventually going to buy them all anyway. :D

I hit a Fit on in a HiBore Tour and it felt nice. But, it's soft, not what you're after.

757 sounds like the better deal.

Fit-on specs are a little soft. I think 4.0 degrees of torque or something. 55 grams if I remember right.

Well looks like I'm gonna find out how the Fit-on-6 plays firsthand. They only had the 757 in an 8.5* so I went with the 9.5* and the Fit on. Should be fun to play around with.

Thanks Robereno and Sling.

Interesting topic. Is it common to have a backup set? Or am I the only one?

I have a couple of back up sets, full bags driver through putter. The bad thing is they are virtually the same irons in each bag, the Miura TP 05, the standard TP 05, and the Miura Forged 300 TL's.

I got the original Quad TP 9,5* with a Fit on 6 stiff. Also have a CompNT 65-S coming new so that can go in if I don't like the Fit on.

I have not taken inventory lately, but I think I can easily outfit a foursome with full sets, possibly a fifth person witha gap or two in the set.
